I’m a full-time corporate financial analyst and a part-time traveler and photographer. Growing up, I was always told that if I follow specific rules and steps (college, marriage, big house, babies, etc.) that I’ll have a “successful life.” As I got older, the more I realized it was only someone else’s definition of “success”. I worked my ass off just to prove my worth in the workplace and to prove my worth to other people. It took a ton of hard work and a lot of mistakes in order for me to realize that I wasn’t living the life I wanted.
I wanted something meaningful. I wanted something to look forward to each and everyday. After graduating college, I made it my goal to pay off all of my debt, to live freely, and to travel the world and share my stories through photography and writing. Well, 2 daughters later that’s not always the case! Despite keeping busy with my 2 wonderful girls, I’ve been able to secure a work-life balance that has allowed me the flexibility I had always desired.
I am able to explore anything that’s unfamiliar and to submerge myself into different cultures. I leave every place I visit with a full heart and a new outlook on life. I always find myself coming back to: less is more, life is short, and anything is possible in life. I enjoy having a deep connection with places, people, and food. And this is my space to grow a connection with you, because giving travel advice, planning out vacations, and giving you the motivation to do it makes me so happy.
